The sweater can also be worn straight up. I zipped it up to my waist. It looks great both ways. Not only is the material heavier than most sweaters, but it is also very soft. The design is beautiful and makes this sweater look like something you would pay more for at a high end women's clothing store. It is absolutely beautiful. I would like to order one color.
